From the Vault . . .
This weekend I am forcing myself to create a binder with all my financial, legal, and personal information just in case of an emergency. Over the past year, I have watched my co-worker struggle in the aftermath of his wife’s death because they did not have any plans in place. She handled all their affairs and he did not know how to pay a single thing. His utilities were shut off, car insurance threatened to cancel, he was locked out of her phone and more. He had to figure it out on his own within a couple of weeks after she died. I want to do better for my family.
